Dermal Fillers

We use hyaluronic acid to deliver the substance directly into the skin for this non-surgical treatment. During your appointment, we’ll first go over which areas of your face you’d like to focus on, and then we’ll use a topical anaesthetic to ensure the area is numb before delivering the applications.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin but is unfortunately produced less as we age. This can lead to the skin looking less bouncy, and more crepe-like, and can contribute to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

We’ll first administer a topical anaesthetic such as a numbing cream, so you’ll be comfortable and pain-free throughout the treatment. You may experience some slight swelling and bruising afterwards – this is perfectly normal and although it shouldn’t cause any or much pain, can be treated with over-the-counter painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen if needed.
