Craig
Craig is a local lad, originally from Newcastle upon Tyne.
He qualified from the University of Liverpool Dental School in 1998 and moved back to the North East to start his career.
Over the last 20 years, Craig has practiced NHS dentistry in the region and built up considerable experience in the provision of high quality dental care across a wide variety of NHS dental services. Having worked as an associate dentist across four practices during this time and providing foundation training to newly qualified dentists for over 10 years.
Throughout his career, Craig has also been dedicated to postgraduate education. He was awarded the membership of the joint dental faculties (MJDF) in 2008 and subsequently in 2011, completed a Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Professional Practice from the University of Central Lancashire.
Craig has a busy family life with two boys aged 12 and 9.
He is a keen sportsman, enjoying kitesurfing and cycling when he has time away from his boys football matches!
Neal
Originally from County Down in Northern Ireland, Neal graduated from Liverpool Dental School in 2011 and moved up to the North East to begin his career as a dentist. He completed a two-year post at Newcastle Dental Hospital and a year in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
Since Graduating, Neal has maintained a desire to expand his knowledge and skills through postgraduate study. In 2013, he passed his MFDS examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow. An interest in academic dentistry also led Neal to publish several articles in leading peer reviewed dental journals.
During the last five years of general practice, Neal has gained experience in providing treatment with Invisalign and restoring dental implants. He also has a keen interest in mentoring colleagues; working with Health Education North East as an educational supervisor for newly qualified dentists. Neal is committed to providing comprehensive dental care to patients. He aims to put patients at ease by encouraging their involvement and understanding in treatment decisions.
